Produced by PWE-Media, Carolina Business TODAY! features Carolina business entrepreneurs and the “why” behind what they do.

PWE-Media,LLC

In 2013 as a 50+ male I found myself looking for my next work assignment. (All work is an assignment from God, Eph 2:10) For 8-months I pursued a career in training and development.  Although, career coach observed when I talked about video my demeanor changed. She suggested I start producing videos. "I can't make money doing that" was my response. "And that's your problem", was her reply.
With a leap of faith, I established PWErhardt-Media. The name is a variety thing I already had the pwerhardt.com dom and figured why spend money on a new one.
My journey has been blessed and challenging but one thing was constant; when I chased after the money I did not succeed. When I put my faith in God and His ability to be the CEO of our company we succeded.
Some of you may be rolling your eyes but here's my ah ha! moment. I was given an opportunity to help a recruiting company part-time. This was great it gave me a modest income and filled the time between projects. When another recruiting company suggested I work with them I abandon the first and began working with them and the promise of a big payday; chasing the Benjamin's. All this time away from the video production business caused that to be secondary and recruiting primary. While my intentions were honorable and I appreciated the work, the work God wanted me to do suffered to the point of me not having enough time to market and sell. Recruiting became full time and frankly, I was not very successful.
March 10, 2015, I prayed for direction and abandoned all my recruiting duties. I re-committed to using my God-given talents for video and jumped full force back into video production. Within weeks the work started to flow and the Lord blessed His business.
2018, is looking good and I'm still committed to working His business. I have taken a very part-time position helping at a computer repair store but while there the owner allows me to work on video projects in between customers.
When you focus on the money you'll never be satisfied. Focus on serving the Lord and His children you'll always be satisfied. Please subscribe to this blog for video production tips and news.

PWE-Media and All Things Possible

Some of you know for the past three years, I have been creating pro-bono video stories for this ministry. Why? Because All Things Possible's mission is:   "Uniting the community to help bridge the gap between healthcare insurance and actual needs for families in medical crisis."   Since I am part of the community and God gave me this talent it's my way of giving back. This is an efficient organization that has a great need. Please watch this video and if you would like to help, contact them through AllThingsPossible.org. Thank you for your time.
